We reaffirm our commitment to bring you the best banking service and guide you through the integration process of your products and services from Banco Santander Puerto Rico to FirstBank’s systems. As we previously informed you, this past September, FirstBank completed the acquisition of Banco Santander Puerto Rico’s operations. As a result, FirstBank assumed all the rights and obligations of Banco Santander Puerto Rico's personal loan portfolio.
The transfer of your personal loan, which will be effective on Monday, March 8, 2021, will not change any of the terms and conditions. Further, your loan number will not change.
If you have direct debit it will remain as is, therefore, there will be no need to adjust any of your direct debit services.
If you do not have direct debit and your loan expires before 2022, you can continue using your existing payment book. If your loan expires after 2022, you can continue using your existing payment book until you receive a new one in April.
Register by filling out the form in the letter sent on February 5 or by calling 787-725-2511 where one of our Customer Service Representatives can guide you through the process .
